WARNING!

Many of the people putting together this site have been longtime supporters of Amy Goodman, Democracy Now, and Free Speech TV. Two years ago, the day after I found out about Free Speech TV I cancelled cable and told them it was because they were censoring FSTV. Later a Comcast salesperson showed up at my door one night (couldn't believe it) and offered $300.00 worth of services to come back to their company. I refused saying I would never come back for any amount of money. The cable guy wrote my reason on a card: "Comcast does not offer Free Speech or LINK TV!" Since that time I have recruited numerous people to change to DISH Network for access to Free Speech TV and Democracy Now.

My last publicly supportive comment of Free Speech TV is documented on May 26 2005 where I wrote this note to Stan Goff's blog:

"I’m thinking of you at the moment because I’m watching you on Free Speech TV (http://www.freespeech.org/ thru DISH NETWORK which I btw, HIGHLY recommend along with LINK TV ….end of public service message) in a documentary called “Shocking and Awful". Thank you for your work! --Nikki Craft"

The link was broken in the original post that I made so I privately wrote Stan the following email and he corrected the link manually:

"Stan, ... Could you do me one favor please? Next time you are updating your website would you mind fixing the link to free speech tv in my post? I'm going to try to start intentionally including links about them in public postings I'm making. Not enough people know about them and I'm afraid some won't be able to figure out how to get to the site if the link is broken when they press on it. hope so. nikki"

I say my last public support was published May 26, 2005 because on June 5, 2005 I received Aura Bogado's article "Hustling the Left." Amy Goodman's issue was still on the stands when I wrote those supportive words.

This is a flagrant example of political irresponsibility that is deeply insulting to feminists and to the Left. I, and others involved with this website, expect these acts of egregious political callousness to be owned and apologized for by the involved parties and that sufficient signs of accountability and responsibility will be shown. And I'm saying it nicely. --Nikki Craft
